We are a welcoming group of players who meet weekly on Thursday evenings.
First and foremost we play simply for the pleasure.
By request we also perform at events and concerts.
We are led by Fel Richardson.
We play at the Wrenthorpe Village Hall. Hence our name!
However you do not have to live in Wrenthorpe. We have members from far and wide, and there is a wide range of abilities and ages. All are welcome to join. If you are interested contact us or simply come along on Thursday Evening at 7.15pm.
We also play at a variety of events. This is on an ad hoc basis but we have a busy calender of events. See our events page. These are entirely optional. You can come and play, or you can leave well alone; the choice is yours. But will you resist helping charities or playing at that Christmas party!
We most often play as an independent group but are delighted to join with others. As examples in the past we have joined other ukulele groups for Uke Fests and with choirs for charity events.
